Welcome to The Market by Sorcha Mowbray

Welcome to The Market The brothel that centers in Love Revealed (my new release!), and in two more novellas in the series, was born out of necessity. I had this idea of two people who know each other in passing discover that they “know” each other in a much more elemental sense. But how? I [...]

Guest Post: Elemental Familiars by Laura Bickle

The ancient Greeks theorized that the world was composed of four elements: earth, air, fire, and water. They developed the idea that each element was tied to a corresponding set of nature spirits called daemons. Socrates himself was said to have been inspired by such a guardian daemon, who he spoke to for much of [...]

The war between good and evil has raged for millennia, and as a powerful new enemy ascends, the marked souls are pushed to the ragged edge…

Sidney Westerbrook has always studied darkness and damnation from a sensible distance. Now, to earn his place as a league Bookkeeper, he must discover why Chicago is such a battleground of soul-linked warriors. Alyce Carver has been alone longer than she can remember, battered by the living nightmares that haunt her city. Cornered by yet another gang of demons, she unwittingly joins forces with a handsome scholar who can slavage per past -and she in turn may be the key to his investigations. But she won’t let him go until he shows her everything she’s been missing.

Guest Post: Kim Knox talks about, A Suit-able Hero

A Suit-able Hero Now, I like a good suit of armour. Especially with a beautiful, often deliciously dirty hero inside of it. I prefer chain mail. Like this (ooo, I have the bastard version of that sword) And James Purefoy. Yum. But there’s the other kind of suit too. The business suit. I have to [...]

Guest Post: Cooking with Hailey Edwards

He can be a slave to his past…or allow her love to free him.

There’s such a thing as too much change. Emma’s sister is mated. Revolution is brewing in her home realm. The last straw: her would-be mate is back from the dead and back under her skin—yet when it comes to the last five years, he’s not talking.

Desperate for a chance to start her own life, she answers the queen’s call to ensure equality for all of Askara’s newly freed slaves. It’s the perfect opportunity to escape a heartbreak in the making named Harper.

Harper loses a piece of his fractured soul when Emma walks away. His lies were meant to protect her from torturous years that drove him to the point of madness. Instead, when he comes to her a year later to help avert a crisis in a freed-slave community, the wedge those lies drove between them is firmly in place.

As their new lives collide with old wounds, they race to stop a threat that could not only destroy the queen, but send Harper back to the hell he escaped. Emma must decide if the man she still loves deserves equal rights to her heart.

Review: Blame it on the Night by Shara Lanel

Human/werewolf relations were forbidden. Guy’s father had made that clear years ago, but Guy had come very close to disobeying with naïve, teenage Olivia. He’d barely kept his body under control, as he’d held her during her first shocking orgasm. Years later, on edge with anger, grief, and the pull of the moon, Guy knows she’s the last person he needs near him.
Olivia is overcome with humiliation at the mere thought of seeing Guy again, though he’s starred in all of her fantasies over the past several years, but she refuses to leave his doorstep until he answers her questions about her missing sister and the dead body found on his property. Problem is, he’s ordering her to leave while blocking the door, telling her to get lost while pinning her between his hard body and the table, saying he doesn’t know what he’s doing while his every touch takes Olivia closer to heaven.
Sometimes forbidden love is worth the risk, but sometimes it leads to revenge and murder.
